RuneScape's jukebox has been augmenting over the years, and many players have been going on long quests to try and attain all of the tunes and songs available in the game. Players are able turn on Loop and select which songs they want to play, and under options adjust the volume. These control how music is selected and played, so players can listen to any tune they want to, wherever they are.

You can tell what songs you have unlocked by the colour in the music player. If a song name is green, it means it has been unlocked. If the song name is red, it means you have not yet unlocked the song.

When you do not select a song from the list, the music player is in automatic mode and RuneScape automatically selects the appropriate music track to play depending on the player's surrounding environment or quest being experienced. If you select a music track from the list while the player is in this mode, it will play your selected song once and then revert to the default tune for that area.

When you do select a song, the music player is in the manual mode. In this mode, you can click in the list of music tracks to select any song you wish to play. You will only be able to select tracks that have been unlocked, and the song will continue playing until you turn loop off or select another track.

When Loop is selected, the music player enables music looping. When music looping is enabled, the same track that is playing is repeated when it ends. This button can be toggled on and off and can be used whether a player has selected the song or not.

Once you have unlocked 500 songs, you will now be able to use the air guitar emote which has some great added sound! You can also check how many songs you currently have at the top of the music interface.
