KeldagrimEdit This Entity
Keldagrim is the massive Dwarven city that has been blocked to humans for years. It was reopened in a battle with the trolls, and now you may enter it! To get there, head north-east of Rellekka until you see a dungeon sign on the mini-map. Enter it, and immediately enter the next cave to be on a small ledge. Speak to the Dwarf Boatman (not the Ferryman) to get a free trip to Keldagrim.
After you complete The Giant Dwarf quest, you have the ability to do tasks for the Consortium and some random citizens.
What more could you ask for? Free transportation from Keldagrim to White Wolf Mountain, Ice Mountain, Grand Exchange, and back?
After completing Another Slice of H.A.M. quest, you are able to take a train from Keldagrim to Dorgesh-Kaan for free. The train station is on the east side of the city near the mine carts. To use the train, simply board the train and wait a few seconds for it to start. You will end up in Dorgesh-Kaan, on the west side of the second floor.
There are several mines scattered throughout Keldagrim and some of the nearby areas. In north-east Keldagrim, there is a coal mine with several rocks only about five clicks (on the mini-map) from the bank. There is also a lot of silver, gold, mithril, and iron throughout the area.
If you want to smith your ores, you can get into the furnace (east of Blasidar's house) for 100 coins a trip. I do not recommend this method for smithing but it is very useful for the directors' tasks.
There are four stalls in the consortium building in Keldagrim east: Bakery, Gems, Crafting, and Silver. You cannot steal from the clothing stall. These stalls follow the typical levels requirements although their spawn times are different. You can also pickpocket the Dwarf traders at level 90 thieving which can yield ores, bars and occasionally a level 3 clue scroll.
The blast furnace resides in the easternmost end of the city, under a building with a furnace icon in it. The blast furnace is a crew operated furnace, unfortunately the dwarves are short on labor. This super efficient furnace cuts coal requirements in half, and has 100% success rate with iron. Everyone gets exp in their related task and some smithing exp whenever someone smiths. The ores can be deposited all at once, and the bars can be collected later. Perfect for a clan outing.
You can also buy kebabs, beer, wine, and Dwarven stouts in the bars or from the Kebab seller.
You can never do jobs for the Red Axe company. They actually followed through with their threats. No one knows where it is all going, but it will likely be the next quest. The Red Axe cat does not talk, because it's sleeping. Dromund's cat will tell you that it knows what you did. We might also see something to do with Wemund and his wrenches. The mine carts are very useful for consortium jobs.
There is an anvil in Wemund's "shop," a furnace in the factory, and several mines are in the area. This is very useful for the tasks as well, or for just a bit of smithing here or there.
