| Did you know... In Runescape Classic, the plumes (feathers in the top) for full helmets were red, instead of blue like they are now. Additionally, they were called "larges" instead of "full helms". ![]() | RuneScape News

Miscellaneous Runescape Guides Update!
Following on from our improvements to the Runescape Quest, City and Guild guides made over the past year, we are proud to unveil our newly revamped Runescape Miscellaneous Guides!
The makeover took about a month or so, and included:
- The index page has been redesigned to categorise our guides. Each category has a short animation beside it to help you pinpoint which category a guide you're looking for may be found in. Further to this, we've also added descriptions to each guide on the index. The categories have been ordered based on statistics of how often they're visited, so you'll find the most commonly used guides closer to the top.
- A search engine has also been added here to help you find something within the contents of a guide or in its name. You'll also notice stars beside each guide's title. The gold ones represent members only guides while the silver ones represent F2P guides.
- The content of all the guides has been thoroughly revised and updated to ultimately ensure they're cleaner, more comprehensive, coherent and easier to follow.
- Special notice and information styles have been added to many of the guides to indicate a very important note or warning.
- The titles, FAQ and tables of contents have been re-styled site-wide along with the new font we've slowly been changing over to, Lucida Sans Unicode. These styles have been applied to all other areas of content as well to increase uniformity throughout Zybez.
- Monster entries in these guides are now being pulled automatically from the database (as we did with the shops in City and Guild guides), so they'll always be up to date. We also pulled the calculators for each of the monsters, so you'll be able to calculate how much XP per hour you gain on a certain monster without needing to leave the guide.

Plenty of Updates
Greetings! For those of you who haven't yet done the Legacy of Seergaze quest, go check it out. In this quest we return to the struggle of the Myreque against the evil that looms over Morytania. For Runecrafters especially the rewards are great, as during the quest you unearth the Blood Altar and discover the Blood Talisman.
Our Treasure Trail Help guide was also updated to include the new riddles, anagrams and other clues that were released recently. The rewards section has also had the new items such as Top hats and canes added.
If some of you haven't noticed the Fist of Guthix mini game guide was released earlier this month as well. The guide offers detailed advice for both aspects of the frantic game, suggesting equipment and strategies open to all players. The guide also covers information on the helpful robes, gloves and other equipment offered as a reward for collecting the most charges.
The Runescape Item Database has also received an update. If you haven't seen already, there's a new "Dropped by" field in most entries. This shows the first 15 lowest-combat level monsters that drop the item you're vieiwng. The list can be expanded as well so that you can see all of the related monsters in detail within the Monster database. This should make it easy for you to single out the ideal target for you to train on when gathering charms or even when slaying for rare drops.

Summoning and Runescape Events
On top of pranking out on April Fools, we've had a lot of work to do with these recent Runescape updates.
The Summoning skill guide has been updated including most of the changes to the skill. The Summoning Calculator has been updated as well. Our Runescape Item Database has also been updated to reflect the summoning changes. If you notice any problems with any of these additions, people be sure to submit a correction!
Our Runescape Videos section has been thriving immensely. We have nearly a thousand videos so far in our database for your enjoyment. We urge you to continue sending us your videos and to continue watching others', there are some pretty good ones in there!
Runescape Videos isn't our only user interactive feature. With the listener cap recently being upgraded to 200 listeners, Zybez Radio has been growing beyond belief. Shortly after the cap was raised, we had 200 listeners tuning in. Go check out the radio and join in the fun at the shoutbox; there are members there chatting away all the time. Remember to check a DJ's playlist before you request a song though, we can't play what we don't have!
In other news, the Gatherings subforum of Events has been merged with the main Events board. Check out this topic to see exactly what changes have been made and how they will change the way you post events.
Speaking of events, the Zybez Events Team is having more and more members to attend their events all the time. I hosted another King Black Dragon event that lasted for a whopping 11 hours! We received a total of 8 dragon medium helmets and lots of other fun loot. For more information on the old King Black Dragon event, click here. Remember not to be intimidated by this event, as so many people come that you're practically guaranteed not to die, no matter what your level is.
The next King Black Dragon event will be held on April 14th. For more information on that, go here. Karll is hosting a Members Vs. Staff event on April 5th. Also, be sure to check out the teams for the Zybez Clan Wars event. The time has yet to be announced but you should receive messages from your team leaders and start collaborating tactics soon. Keep your eyes peeled in the Runescape Events forum and the Zybez News Ticker to see when the next Zybez Events are going to be held.
I know we keep telling you this, but I promise that very soon we will have two updates that I believe you will enjoy a lot. They're getting closer to completion so be on the lookout for an update.

April Fools
It's been a rather hectic week for Runescape Community what with half the staff being involved in April Fools pranks.
General Discussion got rid of their Senior Member CLs and opened up a CL application topic to allow people to prove their worth in the hopes of becoming a GD CL. The topic was obviously later closed, the prank announced, and CLs restored.
Clan Discussion, on the other hand, did something very witty. In attempts to work up the Clan Dicussion goers about Dark Blade75's "demotion," different Clan Discussion CLs switched entire profiles to trick the clannies. Krystal pretended to be Yoto32, Molson acted as Krystal, Yoto32 made us believe he was Dark Blade75, and Dark Blade75 tricked us into thinking he was Molson. Many people believed the promotions/demotion and it turned out to be a really funny joke.
Jeremy was on Zybez Radio, RickRolling our listeners for the majority of the day. I hope all of you radio-goers enjoyed the 15 hours of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."
Mike's latest Zybez Blog on Runescape events was released, granted upside-down and inverted horizontally (rotate your screen 180 degrees to read it).
Finally, the two most obvious pranks were Casey switching profiles with Dan and Jaya being "banned," even though you still saw her posting. It was quite an April Fool's Day, one with many more tricks than we've had in previous years.
Runescape Help (also known as Zybez Runescape Help) was created in 2001 to provide Runescape players with tips, tricks, and general help. Our main goal since day one has been to focus on quality and innovation. Many useful tools call Zybez Runescape Help their home, for example: Runescape Tiko, SwiftSwitch and SwiftKit, Runescape Videos, and our world famous Runescape Price Guide, among others. We're always working hard to give you the best. If you have any suggestions, tips, or comments to offer, drop by Runescape Community and post a message.
Thank you for visiting, we wish you success in your Runescape career!
