Notes: Iron bars require level 15 Smithing to make. Iron ores are given a 50% success rate that they will become a bar at level 15 Smithing, and this number will gradually increase up to 80% at 45 Smithing. Each Smithing level gained will increase the success rate by 1%. Members can use ruby rings of forging to increase the rate to 100% for 140 smelted iron ores, at which point the ring will be destroyed. You also have the choice of using a magic spell called "Superheat item" that give a 100% success rate. This spell is available to both members and free players. Smelting an iron bar gives 12.5 smithing experience. Iron bars are dropped by Iron Dragons, Skeletons, Dwarfs, White Knights et al.
