Obtained From: Use a hay sack with a bronze spear and then use a watermelon on it.
Examine: This should scare the birds.
Notes: You need 23 Farming to make this and you will get 25 Farming experience from making it. It is used to scare away birds from your sweetcorn. Scarecrows cannot be traded.

Here are the steps needed to make one:

  1. Use an empty sack with a hay bale to make the body.
  2. Stick a bronze spear through it by using them on each other. They can be retrieved as a drop from goblin or made using the Smithing skill.
  3. Use a watermelon on it to create the head. They can be grown or bought from players.
  4. Stand the scarecrow in an empty flower patch.
