They can be sold to Gabooty for a small amount of trading sticks, or along with 3 cut or uncut semiprecious gems (Opal, Jade and Red Topaz), you can buy a gem tipped machete from Safa Doc in Tai Bwo Wannai village. Eating this also restores 100% run energy. Gout tubers can also be planted in a herb patch to produce goutweed herbs.
