Notes: To obtain this item, you must complete the
Fight Caves mini-game in
TzHaar. This mini-game involves slaying nearly 200 strong monsters, including the boss;
TzTok-Jad.
If you happen to lose your cape from dying, you can run back to where you died and pick it back up. However, you have to be fairly quick, as the cape doesn't stay on the floor for ever. This is also one of the two animated capes in the game.
If you get more than 1 fire cape, you can sell it to Tzhaar-Mej-Tal for 8,000 Tokkul, although there is no limit on how many Fire capes you can own. You must complete the mini-game again to get another cape.
The Fire cape is also required for getting the slayer monster, Ice strykewyrm, as a task. If worn while fighting the Ice strykewyrm, you gain +40 damage to all attack types, as well as a 2x damage when using the fire strike spell. If the cape is not worn while fighting the Ice strykewyrm, you will be hit with extra damage.
