You need to feed your puppy raw bear, rat or (cow) meat when it's hunger level is high. After it grows into a full grown dog you will still need to feed it raw meat. The bulldog can now be placed in the pet house of the menagerie, (37 construction required) the bulldog will not gain hunger while in the pet house. The baby varient can not be placed in the pet house.
