Obtained From: Hunting outside the walls of oo'glog, by the coast.
Examine: A most unlikely creature.
Notes: Can be obtained after completing the quest As a First Resort... by using a Box trap and Smothering lavender near it. Platypods eat raw fish. Baby platypods can be found south of Oo'glog near the beaches. 48 Hunter is required. The platypus can now be placed in the pet house of the menagerie, (37 Construction required) the platypus will not gain hunger while in the pet house. The baby variant can not be placed in the pet house.
