Once read, the scroll will disappear and give you the permanent ability of having a 1 in 8 chance of making a potion twice as fast, and a 1 in 10 chance of not using the secondary ingredient or herbs at all while making potions. This is extremely useful for those who will be training Herblore in the long term because of its money-saving effects.
