Today I sat down with a few members of Echo of Silence, one of the leading clans of RuneScape, to casually chat about their clan life.

W13 : Let's start with your positions in EoS
Redshuster : Im #1 binder. I bind other players so they cant run.
Kvn Pfc : im the retired webmaster

Redshuster : EoS member
Kr Superfox : EoS member

W13 : Why did you join EoS ?
Redshuster : Because they do what they want, when they want. Not caring what other think about them. We are the most active PKing clan and have a great Community. We also vote all most of our officals in. Only clan to do that I think.
SAGE FFS : It was the only top ten clan I ever considered joining after Adelais closed. It's all about the fun.

W13 : What's the best thing about the EoS community?
Kvn Pfc : the homoerotic tension
Kr Superfox : yeah the homoeroticism is definately the best thing LOL
mattman1122 : But seriously, doing things like WoL with everyone. We play all kinds of games and they're a lot of fun.
Redshuster : The diversity of people, but at the same time everyone is alike in that we enjoy pking and being competitive.

W13 : EoS has lots of members. What happens when you don't get along with somebody in the clan?
Kr Superfox : talk s*** get hit
SAGE FFS : Not everyone is going to get along with each other, that's just how things work. There are a lot of cliques within the clan so everyone has their own department.

W13 : If EoS is to close down, which clan would you join?
SAGE FFS : none. I would quit entirely.
Kr Superfox : no other clan would be the same
mattman1122 : I wouldn't join any other clan.
Redshuster : I probably would either stop playing or join a medium sized clan. I dont like many of the other top clans especialy VR.

W13 : Which other clans do you respect?
Kr Superfox : i respect TT
SAGE FFS : TT.
mattman1122 : Yeah TT.

W13 : What other questions would you like me to ask?
mattman1122 : You could ask: Why is Corruption so bad?
Kr Superfox : ask us our opinions on cheezy1989's infamous webcam incident

W13 : What is this infamous webcam incident?
SAGE FFS : One of our leaders, cheezy1989, was lured on webcam.
Kr Superfox : well, he was lead to beleive he was getting some and it backfired.
SAGE FFS : he can't stand when people bring it up LOL.

W13 : Do you think the leadership is fair?
Redshuster : Fat Bast Inc made me give him a NaughtyAmerica pass or he said he would kick me
hi im davie : leaders suck i deserve leader lol
SAGE FFS : If you say leadership isn't amazing I will ban all of you

W13 : How many cliques or groups are there in EoS?
mattman1122 : Since we elect officials, there can be tension sometimes.
hi im davie : well, there is the anime club led by dark blade75
SAGE FFS : there's s***loads
Kr Superfox : theres the immigrant unit led by dartveider2 and malparido
SAGE FFS : we play so many different games lol
SAGE FFS : I mean, now we have the WoL unit too

W13 : What % of EoS members have you spoken with?
Kr Superfox : probably 100% of the actives
mattman1122 : Not too many for me, I'm retired.
mattman1122 : Mostly people I interact with on the games and forums
hi im davie : i know probably 90% of eos

W13 : Is EoS clan flourishing or going down?
hi im davie : stable atm
SAGE FFS : stop trying to troll us
mattman1122 : 300 opts pulled first time in a while
Redshuster : Weve got like 15 intros the last month.
Kr Superfox : yeah, tripled our intros in a month :D
mattman1122 : Don't need new people though. we have many core members

W13 : What clan feature would you want Jagex to add to RuneScape?
Kr Superfox : rainbow capes.
Redshuster : CWA with a loot option
SAGE FFS : Jagex should leave the game alone in terms of clanning and stop breaking it.
mattman1122 : It'd be cool if clanmates in cc weren't one-click attack like team capes.
Redshuster : btw. You can tell jagex I hate the name change update.

W13 : What can Zybez do to make life for clans easier?
hi im davie : i know its necessary to delete posts and lock topics but i guess not to be too strict on CD forums
Redshuster : Delete the UNC
Redshuster : UNC should be viewable, but still only be allowed to be posted on by ranks.

W13 : What challenges does EoS face other than other clans?
hi im davie : we get ddos everyday, every clan does
Redshuster : Its a sad thing. Our server host might drop us because of it. A few individuals in the clan world pay people to DDos, causing thier forums and team speak to go down.
