The monster can attack several players at once and is guarded by Sergeant Strongstack (level-141), Sergeant Steelwill (level-142) and Sergeant Grimspike (level-142). Keep in mind that Strongstack attacks with melee, Grimspike with ranged and Steelwill with magic. Do not use the prayer altar that is in the lair until you are very low prayer! Once you use it, you have to wait an unknown time (estimated 10 minutes) before using it again. So use it only as needed, and don't leave prayer on for too long.

Tactics

Firstly you need a hammer to enter the Bandos Stronghold, so don't forget it. Barrows armour isn't recommended incase you die, also it means you can't wear any god items to lessen the number of aggressive monsters on you. Good equipment would be as follows; Karil top/Black dragonhide, Verac plateskirt, Berzerker Helm/Helm of Neitiznot, Rune Boots/Dragon boots, Barrows Gloves, Abyssal Whip/Godsword, Skill Cape/God Cape, Ring of Wealth, Strength Amulet/Glory Amulet/Amulet of fury, Dragonfire shield/Dragon sq. shield. In your inventory you should have a fast teleport out, five Prayer potions, several Super restore potions, Super strength potion, Super attack potion, perhaps a weapon with a good special attack and the rest should be high healing food such as sharks.
To reach General Graardor you need to have 40 Bandos kills, the easiest method is to run to the northern wall, in front of his dungeon inside the entrance. Once there, kill goblins to quickly reach 40. Use your hammer on the Bandos door to enter, make sure you have Magic Protection Prayer on to defend yourself from the monsters inside the Bandos Stronghold. When you enter the room with General Graardor put on Range/Melee Protection Prayer on, he will only use ranged attacks, when he strikes with his special attack put on Melee Protection Prayer so he can do no damage. The person who Graardor attacks should pray melee, while everyone else in the room should pray range. Graardor now changes targets much like Kree'ara and Zilyana, when he changes target be prepared to change to melee defence if the target is you.
