This is a higher level alternative Slayer monster to the bloodvelds in the Slayer tower. Their attack is a magic based melee attack.

Tactics

They will hit reasonably high and often, a good tactic is to take some armour with a high prayer bonus as well as some prayer pots. Use protect from melee while fighting them. Using a cannon and/or a strong Summoning familiar is also a good thing to use.
