Notes

You must have a Slayer level of 17 to attack this creature. Carrying an exposed flame (Lit torch, Lit candle) will cause the slime to explode, this can cause upwards to 18 damage. They are also poisonous.

Cave slimes will always drop at least 1 swamp tar. Collecting this swamp tar is a good way for lower level members to make money.

Tactics

Bringing a candle lantern is very useful in caves fighting these, as they never burn out or explode. Also, bring anti-poison. They poison you from afar and close up, even if it's usually only once, it can be deadly for lower levels.
