It will drain your melee, range, and magic stats as well as agility even if you have the mirror shield and protect from magic prayer equipped. Must be beaten to gain access to the Basilisk section of the Desert Slayer Cave. This requires 40 Slayer and you receive 1000 slayer experience when you defeat this monster.

Tactics

This monster hits relatively high and fast without protect from magic on. Prayer potions and a holy wrench (if you have one) are suggested. It also drains stats very rapidly; bring restore, Super restore, or a super set if you do not want your stats drastically lowered.
