Notes

The Phoenix is a NPC that was released with the In Pyre Need quest. After completing the quest players with 51 Slayer can fight her once a day. After defeating her they are awarded with 5 Phoenix quills, 1000 Crafting, 7500 Firemaking, 3000 Fletching, and 500 Slayer experience. The first time you complete the lair you will be rewarded with 5000 Slayer experience instead of 500.

In addition there will be a small chance that you will find yourself lost and stumble upon a room full of phoenix eggs. You will have the option of clapping or kicking the egg. Clapping will hatch a Cute Phoenix Eggling while kicking it hatches a Mean Phoenix Eggling.

Tactics

The Phoenix has a combat level of 250 and attacks with magic. Using the Protect from Magic prayer will cancel out any damage she can do with her attacks. Meleeing her is preferable but ranging her is also effective.
