You can talk to him about flax. If you have the Seers' Headband, then you can collect noted flax from him. The Seer's Headband 1 allows you to collect 30 noted flax a day, 60 for the Seer's Headband 2, and 120 for the Seer's Headband 3. The headband can be obtained from completing the Seers' Achievement Diary.
