Notes
Nomad is a non playable character (NPC) that is found at Soul Wars. He will offer a tutorial of Soul Wars or a book that explains the basics of the minigame that players can read in their own time. After participating in Soul Wars players can exchange their Zeal with Nomad for various rewards. Zimberfizz will take on this duty after Nomad's Requiem quest.Tactics
Nomad is level 699 and attacks with all attack styles. Protection prayers will not protect you from his attacks and teleports cannot be used. On death you will respawn at Soul Wars with you're grave in one of the Soul Wars graveyards. Hiding behind the pillars can be helpful during the 750 Life point attack but if he is unable to attack you for more then 5 second he will teleport to the center and completely heal his life points. However, he will become unaggressive at this point and you will be able to leave the room.Saradomin Brews with Super Restores is the best option of healing during this fight. If you do bring along Saradomin Brews remember to bring along Restore / Super restore potions as well. One Super Restore will account for approximately 3 Saradomin Brews. Rocktails can be substituted but it is likely that you would quickly use them all up. Bringing along a Terrorbird, War Tortoise, or Pack Yak familiar filled with Brews is highly recommended to keep up with his damage. Bringing along a healing familiar, such as a Ice / Fire / Moss titan, a Unicorn Stallion or a combat familiar to summon after the familiar has no more items can also make a big difference in how the fight turns out. Ruby Bolts(e) can be helpful due to it's special attack but since it rarely activates and can put you in danger of dying if it specs during the max Life Point -1 attack it would probably be better to use a different bolt or melee.
Nomad has a variety of attacks which all can be deadly however he has a pattern to his attacks. He starts off using his basic attack, which can hit in the mid 300's so it's important not to allow your Constitution to fall below the 400 mark.
When he says "Let's make things interesting" several mines will fall from the ceiling. Stepping on one will damage you for 400 life points and will completely drain your Run energy. When he says "You cannot hide from my wrath" he is charging up for his 750 damage attack so make your way through the mines, being careful not to step on one, and hide behind one of the many pillars. This will allow you to not take any damage from this attack
He will then make 3 clones of himself which hit constant 50's until you find the real one. Keeping auto retaliate on usually allows you're character to pick out the true Nomad.
After finding the right Nomad he will teleport you to the center of the room and will freeze you with a ice barrage. This attack will always hit you're max hp -1. Using a Saradomin Brew or a Rocktail, heal above your max Constitution then range him. After he hits you with this attack heal then he'll go through all of this over again.
At 1/4 of his life points he will heal back to half health but will only do this once. When he gets to low HP he will go into a berserk mode and attack with melee as fast as throwing knives. Putting on Protect From Melee will allow you to take a bit less damage during this phase. Ensure that you're Lifepoints are kept high. Although he is inaccurate, Nomad is very unpredictable during this phase and can easily hit 350's over and over again, causing a waste of supplies, or even death.
