This requires a summoning level of 67 to summon. The War tortoise is summoned from a war tortoise pouch. This familiar can fight in combat with you providing it is in multi-combat and also against players. Familiars do not engage in combat unless the person it is following is attacked first. In combat the tortoise will give the owner defence xp when it deals damage.The tortoise is a beast of burden and has 18 slots for items.The war tortoise's scroll: testudo, grants a +8 boost to the owner's defence level.
