Lexicus Runewright is a mage, specifically a libraromancer who draws his power from books. He is located in a library divided into five small areas which can be freely navigated. There are many obstacles in this room so it is entirely possible to sneak towards the boss door and escape if you need to.
You must have level 39 Dungeoneering to fight Lexicus Runewright.
Tactics
Lexicus mainly uses magical attacks while teleporting around the room and will summon Tomes of Strength, Magic and Ranged to deal damage to you in all forms of combat. All tomes have 10 Life points but are able to deal up to 70 Life points of damage. When Lexicus shouts "Book barrage!", you will need to run away as books will be fired towards where you are stood and explode, which may be able to instantly kill you if the team is large.
Protection from magic is strongly recommended along with a high tier melee weapon or bow, although Ranged is preferable since all melee damage is deflected towards the attacker.
