The Gravecreeper is a zombie that appears in a special room full of tombs, and is one of the bosses that appears in the Occult floors during Dungeoneering. He requires level 71 Dungeoneering to encounter.

Tactics

The Gravecreeper uses both Ranged and melee, and has a chance of ignoring a player's protection Prayer. He is weak to Slash melee attacks or Magic, so bring either of those styles for the fight. He has two special attacks: one where he says "Buuuurn" and summons a portal around him that deals heavy damage over time, and another where he either says "Diiiig" or "Buuuury" where the tombs around the room turn purple and he burrows into the ground.

If the tombs aren't blessed by the time he unburrows, they will emit lightning bolts and deal heavy damage to players around them, as well as leave a portal that deals damage over time until the Gravecreeper is dead. At higher combat levels, this attack is extremely dangerous and can kill unsuspecting players in one blow easily. To avoid this attack, either teleport away from the infected tombs through a Gatestone or Group gatestone dropped outside of the boss room, or choose to cleanse the purple ones by left-clicking them.
