The Runebound behemoth at first has a melee, Ranged, and Magic protection Prayer activated at the same time, and appears in a room with three active crystals, one being a Crystal of warrior, and the other two being Ranger and Mage. Deactivating any of the crystals will turn off one of the behemoth's protection Prayers depending on which crystal was turned off, e.g. if the Crystal of the Warrior was turned off, it will deactivate the behemoth's protect from Melee Prayer. Players require level 71 Dungeoneering to encounter this boss.

Tactics

The behemoth can use all three combat styles, but mainly uses Magic. It is resistant to Magic and Ranged, but is weak against melee. A strategy to kill this boss is to switch to a melee weapon then turn off the Warrior Crystal. Attack it while its melee protection Prayer is down, then turn off either the Mage or Ranger Crystal, and attack with either Ranged or Magic depending on the Crystal that was deactivated. Repeat the process until the behemoth is dead.
