Notes
Only found in Occult floors in Daemonheim. Level 89 Dungeoneering is required to encounter this boss. In his room are 4 pillars which will be crucial for avoiding his main damaging attacks. Yk'Lagor is unique in that he, at first, is held down by 8 Forgotten mages who draw his power away from him, making him unable to retaliate.Entering the boss room will not cause the mages to attack you. To break Yk'Lagor free, you will only need to distract at least 4 of the mages by attacking each of them before he will stand up and kill all the mages in the room with one blow.
You can not teleport while in the boss room, except when standing behind a pillar.
Tactics
When standing away from him, Yk'Lagor will use a Magic attack that will hit everyone in the room. Standing next to him causes him to only use his rapid melee attack. Using a melee protection Prayer will stop all melee damage, but your Prayer points will be reduced by around 1-4 every time you are attacked.He has two special attacks which can both be avoided by running behind a pillar as quickly as possible. The first is when he shouts "Come closer!" before trying to magically pull a player and stunning them. If anyone is caught by this attack, Yk'Lagor will heal. The second is when he says "This is...", then slamming his fist on the ground saying "...TRUE POWER!". This attack is extremely damaging and, depending on Yk'Lagor's combat level, can kill anyone in one hit.
The best way to kill him is to stock up on Strong rejuvenation potions (or Rejuvenation potions), then placing a Gatestone next to him. Once Yk'Lagor is free, run behind a pillar, walk out slightly and back to cause him to execute his magical pull attack. Next, turn on a melee protection Prayer, use Teleport to Gatestone to teleport next to him, make another one and drop it. When he shouts, run behind a pillar, teleport and repeat.
