Notes
You must have completed Ritual of the Mahjarrat in order to kill Glacors. They can be found in the cave you found the Stone of jas in, during the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest. To reach the cave, use the fairy ring in Zanaris and enter DKQ.
The cave is single combat and it is recommended to bring plenty of prayer potions, the best food you can afford and a teleport to safety.Tactics
Glacors are weak to fire spells, so it is highly recommended to attack using the best fire spell you can, such as fire surge.
Glacors attack with two main attacks, and a third special attack. The two main attack styles are Ranged, which the Glacor fires from it's left hand, and Magic, which the Glacor fires from it's right hand. The third attack is fired from both hands and creates icicles that will hit you for a certain percentage of your life points.
When a Glacor is down to half of its life points, it will spawn 3 minions, which are named; Sapping Glacyte, Enduring Glacyte and Unstable Glacyte. It is advised to block the Glacor around a wall or rock when this happens, as it can't be damaged until the three Glacyte have been killed.
It is advised to kill the Sapping Glacyte first, (because it drains 10 prayer points if it damages you) while the Unstable Glacyte's life points bar is filling up. When the Unstable Glacyte's life points bar is full, quickly step away as it will explode and lose 900 life points, hitting you for a percentage of your life points. Do not kill it yet, you must make sure you kill it last. Move back onto the Sapping Glacyte and kill it. The Enduring Glacyte is pretty simple, move it away from the Glacor to damage it, the further away from the Glacor, the more it can be damaged, but don't run too far away or it will run back to the Glacor. When the Enduring Glacyte has died, it's time to kill the Unstable Glacor. Remember to step away if its lifepoints bar is full.
Once all three minions are dead, you can damage the Glacor again. Make sure you keep a distance though, as the Glacor now explodes at full lifepoints just like the Unstable Glacyte.
