This is a Slayer task monster, the Crocodiles are quite far south (north of Sophanem) on the River Elid that runs through the desert. Most people elect to change this slayer task when they get it. It gives 62 Slayer exp when given as a task.

Tactics

Stab attacks are very strong against this animal, whereas slash and crush aren't. Melee is the best method unless a low level. It's optional to bring along range/mage to lure these animals on land. Because these are desert monsters, you'll need waterskins or an enchanted water tiara.
