Notes
Level 58 slayer and a witchwood icon is required to defeat these. The witchwood icon protects you from their powerful attack and their magic attack is not a distance attack. You will also need a lantern to guide your way through the dungeon. You must have completed the Cabin Fever quest to access these creatures. Cave horrors have low defence and make great range training once they become tolerant.Cave horrors frequently drop 2 items at once.

Tactics
Cave Horrors are not very good for long-term training as they hit fairly high at frequent intervals. They're also spread fairly far apart, making it difficult to train effectively. Dragonhide/mage protection armour would be good protection against their magic attacks. An Elemental shield will also provide you with an excellent magic defence bonus. If you're going to heal with Guthans do it on the Albino bats instead of the horrors because Guthans has a low magic defence. They are also weak against slash attacks. Also note that using a halberd fighting them is a very good strategy. In some areas, you can actually get the Cave horrors stuck and you can use your halberd on them. High alchemy runes are recommended as you may last a long time.
Examine
