You must have a ice cooler and 22 Slayer to kill Desert Lizards, regardless of what levels you choose to kill.

Use the fairy ring DLQ to get to the lizards quickly. When killed as a slayer task it gives 40 experience.

Tactics

Desert lizards are a Slayer task, and can be found in the Desert. If on a slayer task, bring more boxes of ice than your task says, because if you use a box of ice on a lizard that's not at under 5hp, it goes to waste.

When fighting, it is recommend to bring Waterskins and to wear desert robes. You don't get hit often if you are a high level. Bring little to no food, as the lizards drop kebabs which heal well if you need food.
