The desert sands rarely offer up their treasures, but when they do it is sure to be of interest to those with pure intentions and those with gold in their eyes. Leela, Osman's agent in Draynor, has heard that a new pyramid has been unearthed, and that secrets from the days before the God Wars may well be due some time in the open air...

Part 1:
Gathering the items

Step 1
Talk to Leela in Draynor Village
Head to the pyramid at Uzer
Slay level 41 skeletons to obtain items

Items needed: Quick teleport to Al Kharid, Shantay pass, Armour, Food, and Weapons to fight level 41 skeletons.

Talk to Leela east of Draynor Village and agree to investigate the Pyramid near Uzer, and to contact the Mummy who inhibits it (Picture). Head to the Shantay Pass at Al Kharid, and take the magic carpet to Uzer. Run south-east of the carpet from Uzer until you find yourself at a Pyramid surrounded by level 41 bandits. Enter the pyramid.

Zybez RuneScape Help's Screenshot of Missing My Mummy questUpon arrival, start rummaging the skeletons for clues and pick up items which are already on the floor. Next, run to the western side of the pyramid and open the Imposing Door and continue to rummage the skeletons. Once you receive the Scroll of the Dead as a drop, return to Leela and speak with her.

Part 2:
Name & Personality

Step 2
Retrieve name of Mummy from Ali Morrisane
Retreive scroll of praise from Reldo, the librarian.

Items needed: Pestle and Mortar, Ring of charos (a), Al-kharid flyer, Empty beer glass.

By referring to the Scroll of the Dead, Leela tells you that you must reconstruct the Mummy who inhabits the pyramid near Uzer.

Name: Head to Al Kharid and talk to Ali Morrisane (Picture). Talk to him about ways to reunite the Mummy in the pyramid. He admits that he has a copy of Senliten's full, official name. However, he will only give you the name if you give him a glass of sq'irk juice. Head south and right click teleport on the apprentice to go to the Sorceress's garden. Obtain 5 fruit and use them on a pestle and mortar to get the juice in an empty beer glass.

Note: You do not necessarily need to get the winter sq'irk juice, if you have the sufficient thieving level you can try one of the other seasonal gardens, where you will need to collect less fruit. For more information on how to complete the Sorceresses Garden minigame, take a look at our guide here.

Once you have the juice, head back to Ali and exchange it for it 'Copied Name'. Read the scroll and you find out that Ali has made some errors while copying the scroll. Speak to him again (while wearing your Ring of Charos) and you finally receive the original scroll.

Personality: Head to Varrock Library and speak to Reldo about the pyramid. He says that he needs the Al-Kharid flyer to copy the documents. Hand him the flyer and you receive the scroll of praise. Go back to Al Kharid and take the magic carpet to the pyramid at Uzer.

Part 3:
Restoring the Mummy

Step 3
Slay the Golem.
Fix the sarcophagus' surrdongings.
Light the sconces
Speak to Leela

Items needed: Armour, Weapon and Food, Prayer restore potion, Knife, Willow log, Jug of Wine, Spice, Wheat, Pot, Hammer, Saw, 20 fire runes.

Head back to the pyramid at Uzer and go through the Imposing doors once again (to the west). Speak to the Golem that is guarding the door steps and you will soon find out that it is to no avail. Attack it using any crush weapon (you may also use your fists) and proceed down the staircase. Continue east and pick up the two jars and the Mummy body with no hand.

Head back to the staircase and pick up the jar that is to the west. Head south (of the staircase) to reach a floor puzzle. The puzzle is random for each person every time. Work your way across the puzzle and proceed to the room with the sarcophagus inside.

Once at the sarcophagus, you must complete the following:

Repair all the statues.
Complete the Mummy inside the sarcophagus with your Mummy body and hand
Combine spice with wine and replace the "Spiced Wine" on the floor.
Combine wheat with pot and replace the broken pot on the floor.
Fix the statue by using a knife and willow log. Click on it a few times until you receive the message that it is complete (you must do it at least three times) (Picture). (Please note that you can not do this step until you have talked to the queen who will not animate, until you have killed the shadow in the next room. Until you talk to her you get a message when you click on the statue base saying, "You can't build on it because you don't know anything about her yet.")
Place four jars on the shelf
Fix the chair and table

Note: You should have most of the items required above from part 1 in the guide. If you are missing any items, head back to the main area of the pyramid to get the required items from either the floor or from the skeletons. You may also buy the required items from the grand exchange.

Continue west of the tunnel and kill Tumeken's shadows (lvls 41-72). Start to light the sconces around the room. Keep in mind that you must kill a shadow each time you light a sconce, before you can light the next. There are 5 shadows in all. Once you are finished, go back to the previous room and talk to the Pharaoh queen (you should now have 100% progress).

Go back and talk to Leela in Draynor Village to finish the quest. Congratulations!
