Items: FoodThe men of Rimmington are falling afoul of a sleeping curse and are not awakening; only mumbling fragments of a strange song as they dream. There’s another problem, too: the ruthless Raptor has taken it upon himself to resolve the crisis flail-first, and collateral damage isn’t high on his list of concerns. Lucille – wife to Waylan, one of the afflicted men – wants you to find the source of the mysterious malediction and bring her husband home, but beware: getting to the bottom of this might mean a deeper drop than you expected.
Part 1: Song from the Depths
Step 1:
Speak with Lucille.
Enter the cave.
Follow the voice.
Begin the quest by speaking to Lucille. She will inform you that she is unable to wake her husband and other villages, and that they seem to be sharing the same dream. When you offer to help, she will also tell you that the Raptor has already 'offered' to help. She gave him a Restless Sleep potion which would let him 'visit the world of dreams', which after drinking he faded away. Drink the Restless Sleep potion to enter the dream world.
Explore the cave to the north-east until you find the Raptor, who is keen to kill the source of the haunting voice. Proceed through the north door, followed by the west, south, east, and north doors.
Step 2:
Complete the puzzles.
Jump into the Chasm.
Free Remora. Talk to Lucille
You will then enter a cut-scene after which you are standing on a symbol. You will have to find the remaining two, which are to the north-east and north-west corner. A door will appear, but it won't be marked on the mini-map. You will have to find another three symbols, this time to west, north-west and east. Proceed through the cave.
Take the Burning sapling from the center of the cave.
- Plant the burning sapling in the south-west plant pot. Enter the north-east door.
- Take the dead sapling and place it in the north-west plant pot. Enter the south-west door.
- Take the budding sapling and place it in the south-east plant pot. Enter the west door.
- Take the healthy sapling and place it in the north-east plant pot. Enter the east door.
The tree will be fully grown with roots big enough for you to pass to the next doorway.
After a cut-scene, jump down the chasm. You will be eaten by a dragon. Avoid the green pools as they will deal you a small amount of damage (49 followed by 19s). Continue until you reach Remora who will explain everything to you. Once you escape, return to speak to Lucille. Congratulations Quest complete!
