The Lumbridge castle cook is in a mess. It is the Duke of Lumbridge's birthday and the cook is making the cake. He needs a lot of ingredients and doesn't have much time.

Part 1:
Save the Day!

Step 1
Speak to Cook at Lumbridge Castle.
Grab a pot.

Before you start the quest, deposit any unnecessary items in the bank (e.g. weapons and armour). This will decrease your weight, allowing you to run for longer periods of time, which will be helpful in this quest. To get started with this quest, make your way to Lumbridge Castle and speak to the Cook in the eastern part of the ground floor. Lumbridge is where you started off from when you left helping out Sir Vant, during the Learning the Ropes tutorial.Zybez RuneScape Help's Screenshot of the Cook conversationThe cook will tell you he's in trouble because it's the Duke's birthday, and he doesn't have the ingredients for his cake! The cook will ask you for some help and, when you accept, he will give you a list of three items to collect. These are a pot of flour, Top-quality milk, and an egg. While you're here, grab a pot that spawns in the kitchen.

Step 2
Egg: Farm north of castle.
Milk: Talk with Gillie Groats, milk Prized dairy cow, east of farm.
Grain: north-west of castle.
Flour: Talk to Millie Miller, grind grain in windmill.
Return to Cook.

Zybez RuneScape Help's Map of Lumbridge

Firstly, make sure you have an empty pot, then go and collect a piece of grain. A wheat field can be found just north-west of Lumbridge Castle, and is shown on the map to the right. Go into the mill and talk with Millie Miller. Mention that it's the Duke's birthday, and you need to make Extra fine flour. Once talking to her, and when you have the grain, go to the top floor. Put it in the hopper and operate it (Picture). Once you have done this, go to the ground floor and use your pot on the flour bin. If you have any trouble with this, speak to Millie Miller.

Now that you have the flour, head a bit south-east of the windmill until you come to a farmer's house. Just inside the chicken coop area, wait until a Super large egg appears and pick it up. It can appear at random, so you may have to wait a while.

While you're at the farmer's house, grab the bucket that spawns inside (Picture). Now cross the road, head south-east a little, and enter the cow paddock. Speak to Gillie Groats about the Duke's bitrhday, and she will send you to the Prized dairy cow on the eastern side of the pin. Milk the cow to get Top-quality milk.

Now that you have the milk, egg, and flour, head south back to the Cook at Lumbridge Castle to collect your reward.
