Requirements
Skill: 40 Farming
, 50 Fishing, 47 Prayer
(Must be charged to at least 47 points as well), 42 Crafting, 42 Slayer.
Quest: Zogre Flesh Eaters.
Item: Slayer Gloves (200GP from any Slayer Master), Rake, Seed Dibber, Bucket (Can be obtained from a cupboard in the bottom level of the brewery).
Other: Ability to defeat a Spirit (Level-150).
- These skills may be temporarily boosted with Stat Enhancers to complete the quest. - Stat Enhancers can NOT be used on this skill to meet the quest requirements.
For Skill requirements without either of these pictures, you may or may not be able to use stat enhancers. If you can confirm either way, please submit a correction.

Part 1:
The Rum Factory
Step 1
Talk to Pirate Pete, NE of the Ectofuntus.
Grow Blindweed, south of Brewery.
Put in hopper.
Items needed: Rake, Bucket, Seed dibber.
Start this quest by talking to Pirate Pete. He is located on the pier north-east of the Ectofuntus. He will tell you a story. When he is done talking to you, you need to "be heroic."
Next, talk with Captain Braindeath. After a long conversation, you will finally get a Blindweed seed and your instructions.
Now you need to locate the Blindweed patch. Head south through the protesters to find the patch. You do not need compost or need to water the plant. It takes just a few seconds and you get a message when it is done growing. Be careful here, as the zombies are aggressive and will attack you. You may want to wait-go back inside until you get the message.
Talk to Captain Braindeath again. He tells you to put the Blindweed in the hopper upstairs. Head upstairs. The ladder up is in the South-East corner of the room where the Captain is. The hopper is in the north-west corner of the upstairs area (Picture). Put the Blindweed in the hopper and then head back down to the Captain. If you cannot see the hopper then you may want to switch to a higher detail.
Step 2
Get stagnant water.
Put in hopper.
Fish 5 sluglings.
Get wrench and have it blessed.
Items needed: Bucket.
He tells you to get stagnant water next. Go outside the compound and to the west then go north. You will see a few bridges and islands, guarded by 50% Luke. Open the gate and go to the north. At the top of the volcano, use your bucket on the stagnant lake. Return once again to Captain Braindeath.
Next, he will tell you to put the water in the hopper. Go upstairs and use the bucket with the hopper where you put the Blindweed. Head back downstairs to see Captain Braindeath again.
Talk to Captain Braindeath again and he will now need some sluglings, or some other sea slime. You will need five of them. He will give you tangled thing (fishbowl and big net). The fishing spot is just south of the Blindweed farming patch. Go fish until you get the five. Head back upstairs and put the five things in the pressure barrel that is by the hopper. Pull the lever. Head back down and talk with Captain Braindeath again.
Captain Braindeath will give you a wrench. Davey, who is in the sleeping quarters to the west, will bless the wrench. Note what Davey tells you about the blessed wrench (Picture).
Step 3
Use wrench with control panel.
Kill Spirit.
Kill Fever Spider in basement.
Talk to Captain Braindeath.
Talk to Captain Donnie.
Time to fight a Spirit (Level-150), so get ready for melee combat. Use the wrench with the control panel, located on the main floor just south of Captain Braindeath. It should be shaking. The spirit will appear. Kill the spirit. Use protect from melee for a very easy fight. Head back and talk to Captain Braindeath again.
Now go downstairs and kill one of the Fever Spiders, take the spider body and use it with the hopper upstairs. It is advised you use the Slayer Gloves here. If not, you will very likely get diseased (like the Zogres give). If you are not using the gloves, you may want to use protect from melee, since the spiders will hit 11's on each attack.
Talk to the Captain Braindeath again and the brewing will start. Go to the output tap on the vat on the south side of the machinery on the first floor. You need to use a bucket with the tap.
Take your bucket of "swill" and talk with "Captain" Donnie. He is south in the farming area where you planted the Blindweed.
Now go back to see Captain Braindeath for the last time. After another quick chat, he will give you your reward.
A: It only takes 5 minutes or less. There is a message when it is done.
A: The Holy Wrench makes prayer potions have +1 or +2 effect when restoring your prayer points. It can also slow prayer drain.
A: Speak to Davey back on the island and he will give you your wrench back if you have lost it.
