Part 1:
Mayor and Robes
Step 1
Arrive at Nardah
Speak to the Mayor
Take the key and repair the robes
Speak to Ghaslor
Items needed: 1 needle, 2 thread, Runes to cast telekinetic grab
To begin, make your way to southern Al-Kharid to the Shantay Pass by either walking or teleporting with an Enchanted broom. Buy a pass, and ride one of Ali M's carpets to Pollnivneach. Once you arrive, head south and take southern carpet-riding facility in Pollnivneach to the desert town of Nardah. If you have completed Garden of Tranquility quest, using the Ring of charos (a), will reduce the amount of coins you must pay to use his service.
Once the magic carpet arrives in Nardah head east, and you will soon come across Awusah the mayor (Picture). Speak to him about wanting an adventure, and he will inform you that his town has been put under a curse that dried up all the water. When you have finished speaking with him, go to the house just North-West of the mayor (west of the archivist). Once inside, use telekinetic grab to get the ancestral key from the shrine. Also search the cupboard (Picture) to the west and get the torn robes. Use your needle and thread with the robes to repair them.
Note: If you repair the top first, you may need two pieces of thread.
Now head North-East, and speak with Ghaslor the Elder (Picture); tell him you're trying to find out about the town's curse, and he will give you a ballad. Read this as it sort of explains how to defeat one of the golems.
Part 2:
The Cave and the Golems
Step 2
Head to the cave through the desert
Enter the cave using a rope with the root
Defeat each golem accordingly
Now make your way west out of Nardah, and catch a carpet ride back to Pollnivneach, then the Shantay Pass. Once at the Shantay Pass, head South-East to the bridge, and cross the River Elid; then make your way north, to the end of the river, and you will soon come across a cave entrance, with a root sticking out. Use your rope with the root, and you will enter the cave.
Note: You will need your Elidini robes, rope, light source, pickaxe, bow, and melee weapons for this part. Waterskins and knives (for cutting cactus for water) are useful since you are heading into the desert. South of the cave, is a spawn of bronze arrows and a bronze pickaxe. East of the cave there is a shortbow spawn.
As you walk through these caves, you will come across doors. Each door has a golem protecting it, and you must defeat that golem before continuing. The first door requires your ancestral key and Elidini Robes (equipped) to open. The golems and their weaknesses are listed below:
Note: By attack type, this does not mean "Lunge" or "Slash". Rather, when you hover over the button for "Lunge", it will tell you that it is a "Controlled" attack, "Stab" style, giving "Shared Xp".
Black Golem (Level-75): Use a crush attack to defeat it. Open the door and use your bow and arrows to "kill" the target.
White Golem (Level-75): Use a stab attack to defeat it (spear, longsword, dagger). Open the door using your thieving skill to clear the water channel.
Grey Golem (Level-75): Use a slash attack to defeat it (spear, dagger, longsword, whip) Open the door and clear the water channel using your pickaxe.
Step 3
Speak to the Spirits
Head back to Nardah
Speak to the Mayor
Once all three water channels are open head west, and go through the door with the fishing area on the other side. Proceed through the door and go east past the fishing spots. You will find the spirits here. Speak to them, and say that you are a emissary from Nardah. After you find out that they killed the priest because he didn't follow the ways of Elidini.
Eventually the spirits will tell you that they will only return the water to Nardah if the statuette of Elidini is back where it belongs. Make sure you have your rope and light source before returning to Nardah.
Head back to the mayor, by returning to the Shantay Pass, buying a carpet ride to Pollnivneach, then to Nardah. Tell the mayor of the water spirits' story, and he will tell you they threw the statue somewhere in the desert just west of the town.
Part 3:
The Genie
Step 4
Get the soles
Descend the crevice
Trade the Genie the Mayor's sole in return for the statuette
Pick up the mayor's shoes that spawn near him. Move away from him and use a knife on them and you will get the sole of the shoes. You will need these shortly. Once you have the soles, make your way west of Nardah, until you find a crack in the ground.
Note:You will need your rope and light for this part. Waterskins are useful since you are heading into the desert.
Use the rope with the crack, and you will climb down. You'll be in a room with desert snakes (level-5), and a Genie. Talk to the genie (Picture) and ask if he has seen a statue dropped here. Ask him if he will make a deal to trade you the statuette. He wants the sole of the mayor of Nardah; speak to the Genie again, and he will trade you the statuette for the sole.
Make your way east, back to Nardah, and go inside Shiratti the Custodian's house again. Use the statuette on the statuette plinth (Picture) to complete the quest.

A: Spears are the best, as they have all three of the required attack modes.
