About Me
I'm in my early 20's and just beginning a new life. Currently residing in business-booming Calgary, I'm studying at the University of Calgary. I hope to complete my studies within a few years and retire by age 30. That's the plan anyways! See, I'm very business-minded and never want to get stuck in a 9-to-5 all my life. Zybez started off as a hobby, a costly one too! Now, it is making me reconsider it as a business. Though we have suffered some setbacks, I'm very optimistic. I hope to retire from real-life work and focus completely on business-building and keeping Zybez alive and kicking. As for the rest of me, I am friendly, extroverted, and have at least a little knowledge of pretty much everything thanks to my wild curiosity.
Zybez Life
The Zybez story begins with Runescape Help, this very website, back in 2001. To cut it short, now Runescape Help is bustling with traffic and is a large-scale website project. There are lots of talented people working on the Zybez websites and we have new updates every few days. Though I started everything single-handedly, now my role is different from what it was before. Web development is left to the experts the same way writing detailed guides is left to Runescape experts. Since I am an expert in neither web development or Runescape, I dont do any of that. I am however a good manager. I can read people. I can drive people to work harder by giving them encouragement. And, there isn't a (management-related) problem I can't solve! Apart from that, I am the long-term thinker and make sure Zybez stays on the right path. I also involve myself as much as possible in as much as possible to know about my own website better and to be able to make decisions properly. I have been very fortunate with the Zybez team, they are all very hard workers. So, what's in the future for Zybez? Well, Runescape Help website will of course be maintained as long as the Runescape game lives on. We will definately attempt to branch off to other games and create other high-quality high-value informative websites.
Runescape Life
I began playing Runescape on January 29, 2001. I focused on having fun and working on Zybez Runescape Help website instead of leveling-up. That is why, even after about 4 years, my character was only level-80. That too with almost daily playing! My friends that had started around the same time (or even after) me are well past level-100 and some of them have already quit. Even though I didn't care much for skills, my character got very well-rounded, having at least level-60 in every skill. Also, I managed to amass a large amount of gp thanks to the smithing booms. A lot of it was lost in drop-parties and the rest of it was just spent for fun. I had 34 party hats at one point.
Currently, my main character (W13) is banned from Runescape permanently. I'm not sure why exactly my character was banned. All I know is that I didn't play Runescape for nearly 6 months, and when I returned, my password had been changed and my character was blocked from the game. My conclusion: I got hacked- somebody guessed or stole my password somehow. I did send messages to Jagex, but of course, they sent me automated responses that made no sense or gave proper explanation. Nevertheless, I still play Runescape, on other characters, about an hour a week or less- only to check out the new updates or take pictures. It is of course not the same as it was on my main character. The loss of my main character is the prime reason I have lost interest in actually playing Runescape and enjoying it as a game.
